Last week Bright Prospect community college students, who collectively attend Mt. San Antonio College, Chaffey College, and Citrus College,  got together at the Bright Prospect office to attend the monthly Community College Social. At these meetings our students reconnect with past crew members, listen to updates, and discuss contemporary issues and concerns. This is especially important to this group of students because they commute to campus, which can make it difficult to participate in many activities that non-commuting students would be exposed to. Their most recent social focused on technology and its impact on the labor market. The students watched a 60 Minutes report on robots and job growth, and then discussed how their own lives have been affected and what they can do to prepare for future changes. The next community college social will be an outdoor hike at the Claremont Hills Wilderness Trail.
